The Early Years of a Masterby LandzEncaComment by Ductyl: Following your score in the thread for this challenge (and checking your portfolio), I was pretty sure this was your shot. I thought you would get a ribbon with this score too, which made me wonder how well my shot would do. Thanks for the Post Challenge shout out, made my day. DSC00279 cityscape2by LandzEncaComment by dahlin: I was getting ready to say exactly what germaine said. The colors and reflections are fantastic. There's an odd little red light in the sky off to the right of one of the buildings. It almost looks like lens flare, which I wouldn't have expected with this shot. |

DSC01635by LandzEncaComment by MattO: This has several things going for it. Pretty model, good pose, and great contact with the camera. The nitch as you know is the softness on the eyes. I don't mind the shallow DOF. the issue is nailing the focus on the eyes at that dof. |
