Gloopby hawkidaComment by qachyk: It's.... ALIVE!
It does kinda look alive, which is interesting. Very liquidy, no distractions from the main subject, so good composition even if the subject is a little on the strange side. |

Whistlerby hawkidaComment by dsidwell: Nice shot. The whistle does indeed get the focus here, but we also have time to look at the man's face; he seems pretty intent! |

Whistlerby hawkidaComment by wewillexplore: Clear sound, but you cut off your models head and hand and shoulder. Try to be a little less tight with the cropping. Nice use of b/w btw. |

Gloopby hawkidaComment by carolee: Is this displayed upside-down? It almost looks like a hard resin that was flipped after it cooled. I like the liquid feel of this photo, and the composition is interesting. I might have left a tiny bit more black on the right edge, so the eye doesn't leave the photo before it swings back in for that other curve. |

Gloopby hawkidaComment by ScottK: My guess is this photo was flipped upside down! Hope to find out after the challenge is over...
It's a sort of interesting image, colors, lighting and composition are OK. I think a little more of the foreground in focus would work better - the blur hurts the eyes a little. I think if you could have brought a little more out of that center drip - through light, better focus, something - it would have helped a lot. 5 |

Gloopby hawkidaComment by jodiecoston: Wow, kind of cool. I assume you've turned it upside down to achieve the weird effect. Good lighting and highlights that give a real "fluid" feeling to this shot. It would be really cool if the entire thing were in focus, but as it is, you've at least placed the focus in the perfect spot. Cool shot. |

Whistlerby hawkidaComment by qachyk: THANK YOU for actually having someone BLOWING the whistle.
It's another one of those shots where I wonder why black and white was chosen but it's not as if that's terribly distracting. It meets the challenge, it's a good photo. |
