York's City Wallsby BobsterLobsterComment by geewhy: I like the use of high contrast in this image...although I suspect that you may get some criticism for it...especially the sky..most voters seem to hate lack of detail.
Knowing the British weather..I`m aware that on some occasions, it is like this naturally..I think you have used it to your advantage to create interesting contrast between background and foreground.
Well done. |

York's City Wallsby BobsterLobsterComment by skief: I think you changed the levels so much that it no longer appears real. I've yet to see a white sky like that especially when I'm looking at such bright flowers. |

Eye of the Stormby BobsterLobsterComment by ellamay: Hi greeings from CC, I think this photo has an emotive, eerieness going for it, while it is not the kind of shot most would hang on a wall (well unless you do a lot of psychedelic drugs) but is the kind of shot I could imagine on the cover of a music mag. The technical aspects are also very well done, use of DOF is interesting, feels as tho it is reversed by having center image sharp and extremities not so. (curious if this is out of cam or PSed?) The color scheme enhances the feminity of the shot. Composition is also very well suited to the image. Very well done, I suspect it did not scream choas to lots of folks tho, hence the lowish score. Well done bob! |

York's City Wallsby BobsterLobsterComment by charliebaker: Lovely floral photo with juxtaposition of stone walls in background. The white sky makes this photo look like a studio portrait rather than a real world photo. Also, the true strength of York is not in her walls but in her great cathedral faith as witnessed by the York Minster. The Minster at night would have been a finer subject for this challenge. |

York's City Wallsby BobsterLobsterComment by justine: Pretty shot. I like the perspective. I only dislike the saturation in a few areas, looks heavy handed. Still I do like this. Good luck in the challenge. 7 from me. |

Spring Strollby BobsterLobsterComment by arnit: The tone of the picture is good. The person makes the different between a good picture and great. I'm changing my vote from 7 to 8. Good job. |
