Butterflyby BobsterLobsterComment by geewhy: Really nice exposure on this...very pleasing image.
Did you blur the two flowerheads on each side during postprocessing as they seem nearer to the camera than the smaller ones which are in focus..either way, it`s a nice effect. |

Cairn Viewby BobsterLobsterComment by geewhy: Nice capture given the difficult lighting conditions. You have managed to capture the remote feel of the location very successfully.
Where was this Bob?

You're right... at least there was some sun on this day! Most days we weren't quite so lucky. |

Lilyby BobsterLobsterComment by Dr.Confuser: WOW! This will surely end up in my top 10 if not my top 3. The colors are vibrant without hurting my teeth. Background is as interesting as the foreground but compliments rather than competes. Very Very Nicely Done! |

Lilyby BobsterLobsterComment by strangeghost: An absolutely beautiful flower, but my mind's eye wants to see this against a black background. It would make the red really pop and the brownish anthers would still be very strong. As it is, the background is too busy for me and distracts away from the central subject. |

Lilyby BobsterLobsterComment by photom: Ahh - the tiger lily is so great a specimen. It really needs a plain non-distracting background unlike the lichen behind the stamens now. The orange color is stunning. Border does not need the white lines. |
