Fresh country airby gminkComment by saxon75: The biggest thing here is that the lighting is too harsh. The shadows have very hard edges, and the highlights in the metal give it kind of a washed-out look. Some other considerations: The green of the machine doesn't contrast enough with the blue of the sky--this isn't something you can change, really, but it's good to think about the color palette you're working with. When possible, try to use complementary colors. The angle here is also not all that interesting--a lower angle would make the machine look bigger and more impressive. I think it would also help to see where the tires meet the ground. Finally, there's a dust spot in the upper left corner that should be cloned out. |

Fresh country airby gminkComment by Tom: Ha, nice idea. I'm sure a bazillion people have told you about the sensor dust spots, so I won't mention it ;) |

Dust over the roadby gminkComment by hahn23: Wonderful bands of colors and textures. The truck and dust are excellent elements of interest. There is a slight lack of clarity throughout. I'm guessing handheld shot. Slight camera shake. Still good image, though. |

Dust over the roadby gminkComment by HarveyG: Strictly speaking your title DNMC. The photo is however typical of a road train and is very good for Minimal, with good comp, fields and colours adding mood and appeal. |
