Beck Schoolby cynthiannComment by CNovack: Voted earlier coming back to comment.
Tones, lighting, colors, and details are all great in this streetside shot that showcases the school building on the corner. There is some lovely architectural elements to this school building. One thing that detracts from the composition and cuts across the top portions of the main subject is those power lines. One way you can minimalize the impact those power lines have on your composition is to try to take the shot from a lower angle. I.E. by placing the camera at street level and in a looking upward angle it has the strong possibility of having all or most of the power lines cross the sky rather than cut across the building. An added bonus is that it makes the building 'appear' taller from the lower angle so it will add to the feel that it is taken from the viewpoint of a small child (which plays well with the picture of the Beck School). |
