An image that demonstates the subject matter of the challenge in spectacular fashion with excellant DOF and color control. Both a technical and artistic success that more than adequately meets the challenge subject in particular with the color shades. A very worthy contender for top ten honors and a possible ribbon contender.

Good subject. A closer view of the petals might be more interesting from a texture perspective. Shot is a little soft and composition is too straight-on and centered for my taste.

This is either a bad jpeg conversion, over-sharpened or both. The pixellated areas around the trees are the giveaway and it does rather spoil the image. The composition is fine and the sunset very nice although a crop which removed the roofs would detract from the 'taken out of the bedroom window' feel which I imagine is resulting in a low score.
