A man and his sweetheart. I kind of wish maybe you had gotten closer and captured some of his reflection in the hood. Still very nice. (Not crazy about the processing though.)

Beautiful image. I like how the blue area draws your eye along the tree line.

seems more like a portrait of the car rather than the guy.

This photo has a slight feel of over-processing, which may bring your score down, but I think it gives a more retro look which adds to this particular photo.

This is a nice photo, but I have some suggestions for improvement. There is a lot of noise (high iso?) which detracts from the image quite a bit. Also, in this case, I don't think the fading border is adding anything to the photo, so I would have omitted it (but that's completely personal taste).

a man and his pride and joy - i just wonder if the image is a bit bright. Isn't photographing something black hard in auto settings?!! The histogram appears shifted far to the right. A bit of a blacks adjustment in "Levels" seems to help this out a bunch.

Comment by PapaBob:
I know animals never pose like we would like but to me this image suffers because backside is so prominent. I belong to a wildlife photo club and one thing they have taught me is that people hate to see the rear of any animal and even though the head is turned towards the camera the rear becomes to much of the focal point. It would also IMO be more appealing if the crop was not as centered and the weed was not cluttering up the side of the animal but again they never cooperate so some times you get what you can. I do like the way you captured the animal in a clearing and the corn stalks make a decent backdrop to the shot. Hope the info helps, good luck in the challenge.
