Zen garden in the ditchby Yo_SpiffComment by CorySmith: now this to me is a photo that wont do well in voting, but theres something about it that makes it stand out from the other entries. is it the simplicity of the photo? are we all trying to hard to get the sharpest, most colorful photo? have we all forgotten how the simplest things are overlooked when trying to compete with everyone elses style? the simplest things are often the most meaningful subjects. my first 10 |

The harshest environment of allby Yo_SpiffComment by inshaala: Maybe some people saw it as an ironic statement - and gave you a 9 or 10 for inferred creative genius? I gave a 3 actually... probably because the concept was good and that i reserve 2's for badly sized shots and i have never given a 1 to my knowledge ;P |

Instructions: Keep rubber side downby Yo_SpiffComment by JulietNN: Havent read any one else comments yet, so here is what I see.
Love the yellow against the black. The yellow bit on the tire ties it into the background too. I like the angle on this, it is coming forward and is right in your face.
The thing that I keep looking at though is the white thing on the tire, is it a cobweb? it keep drawing my eye to it to see what it is and the tiny leaf stuck in your ridge. Isnt it silly as to what we find when we study the pictures.
I personally would have liked to have seen the right side of the tire tread a bit more though rather than blackness and no detail.
I scored this one a 7. |
