An image worthy of deep exploration. There are many layers, each offering visual delights. The front frame has strong diagonal lines, and interesting remnants which could either be ice or glass. The room behind it is filled with mystery and delicious tonal variances, making me wonder what happened in there, what longing soul peered out these windows and longed to be elsewhere. The distant building seems foreboding and almost caricature-ish - like a sorcerer's castle designed by Rube Goldberg. As lovely as it is, we miss an anchoring element, something the typical viewer can relate to, without having to weave their own story. With the large number of entries in the typical FS, an intellectually stimulating image such as this suffers greatly.
