Great use of the winding road, adds quite a bit to this. I also think the facial expression is great, and it's a good usage of the lens for this type of shot. The only thing that I'd note is that it doesn't LOOK that steep. Now, I'm not saying it isn't, but super-wide lenses can really make things look flat when they aren't. That section between the two curves, where the recumbent is, for instance, appears flat or near flat due to perspective. I've struggled with showing angle of steepness in lots of my mountain biking shots- it's really quite frustrating, since I know that it doesn't transfer the experience to those who aren't there, but in my mind I'm thinking of what the hill actually is like.

Your cycling photography has really excelled of late, particularly coverage of the hill country ride. Beautiful use of the s-curve here, and great expression from your subject. Nicely done - and a tiny violin is always a good thing. :-)
