I like the idea, but think it might work better if the front of the bag (with the pumpkin face) was a bit flatter and if the bag was full to the top of the frame.

Your spider almost appears to be waving good-bye to the sun. I like the approach you took for this challenge and I like the results. You must have taken a few shot to get this one. The colour contrast looks great and it suits the shot very well.

I gave it 7. I read it exactly like you intended. The blur is a bit distracting, but I saw the point in it. I like B&W and the crop itself. I like the roughness of the picture. I don't think picture has to be razor sharp to be good. To me it is a good picture which conveys the challenge theme in a clever and unusual way.

Almost made the brown ribbon with this one. The score was not unexpected. I had an idea, but was not able to get it across visually.

The graininess was intentionally induced. An artistic effort that was probably not obvious enough, so just looked flawed. The blur of the screwdriver was not intentional at the time of the shot, but I felt it looked like someone struggling to reach the screw.

Here's the (resized) out of the camera shot. If anyone can suggest how to make it better, I am interested in the feedback:

Very nice contrast: the blue is not too blue, and the water texture is made to order. Simple, unexploited details of black legs and feet and stepping stones are just right.

Yep, don't you hate that!? It's up there with the bolt that can only be turned an 1/8th of a turn at a time!!
I like the blur on the screw driver that suggests he's trying to get there, but not quite! : )

This is a very nice shot - I like the background, and especially the lighter color around the head of the bird. This shot makes me want to stop and reflect a bit. It makes me feel good (and curious at the same time).
