Benbrook Lakeby Yo_SpiffComment by Yo_Spiff: Maybe that will help in some situations and I'll keep it in mind, though I don't think it would have helped here. It was in reality almost pitch black. The 30 second exposure makes it look brighter than it really was. Thanks. |

Benbrook Lakeby Yo_SpiffComment by jdannels: To help focus, aim your camera at something really bright and far away, like the moon or in this photo the lights on the horizon. Once focused put it it in manual focus and you don't touch it and you will pretty sharp images, Thats how I do all mine, especially if you shoot on the wide end at 18mm. HOpe that helps. :) |

Benbrook Lakeby Yo_SpiffComment by Yo_Spiff: The stars look odd for a reason. Most of them are not stars. One of my flickr contacts suggested that it might be hot spots on my sensor from the extremely long exposure of 30 seconds. |

Peace and quiet at lastby Yo_SpiffComment by posthumous: all kinds of symbolic weight going on here: wall, tv, trash... nature and freedom exist only in reflection... great composition, too. This ties for my yellow.
