Instructions: Keep rubber side downby Yo_SpiffComment by Melethia: Call me odd, but I think this would have worked with the wheel in the air, especially given your title. :-) It does show the pattern well and I like the corresponding pattern of the distorted by perspective wheel against the more circular shadow. That said, your outtake with the two spokes is better technically and for the challenge - the background on that one is brighter, more cheerful, a better yellow. As you noted here, toning down the color cast hurt this a bit. The angle of this one is more dymamic, more challenging, whereas the angle of your outtake is more sedate, more common if you will. The outtake also has more of the focus on the tread pattern, especially with the use of the shallow DOF, where here the "feel" is more for the structure of the wheel itself, more taken as a whole. |
