Audreyby FromDaRockComment by Lydia: A 7 from me (earlier). The hand looks awkward to me... like it doesn't belong to her and is from a person on the ground... reaching up to touch her. The matching sleeve helps a bit, but... it still is awkward and appears to be out of scale or something.
I know it's hard for you to see, because you still have the shooting in your mind... but the viewer doesn't have that privilege and must go with only what's here. |

Threading the Needleby FromDaRockComment by FromDaRock: Originally posted by CBalck: A tough subject. Wish the focus were just a bit sharper. |
I would have liked that too, but without an actual macro lens, I didn't really have any way of getting a deeper DOF. It was quite difficult to get parts of the pin in focus. |

a very challenging one to , slow shutter speed and still getting fairly decent sharpness on her
Congrats!
I'm afraid the nude police may hammer you with a number of 1's and 2's

Not as many 1's and 2's as I thought, lots of 3's and 4's though. |

Lying in the Rainby FromDaRockComment by FromDaRock: Originally posted by Lydia: I want the focus to be sharper on her face.. and it seems blurred... maybe motion?
Seems like the end of the log in the water is sharp and even the rock behind her.
Also, it looks uncomfortable to sit on that rock... nekkid! LOL! |
Yes, it is motion. It is a 10 second exposure, so I was pretty impressed that she did as well as she did.
I also had two 5s exposures, one was blurrier and the other was very sharp. Unfortunately, another photog walked in front of my camera during the exposure (argghhh) and by that time, the model was done with trying to hold those poses on that rock (not really a rock, but the remnants of a foundation). It was about 12 Celsius on this very rainy morning, she was quite the trooper. |

Lying in the Rainby FromDaRockComment by MadMan2k: At least her clothes won't get wet! lol
Nicely composed and good shutter speed for the water, also kudos to the model for holding still for that amount of time. |
