I wish there were a frame on the back wall... to make this clearly legal for the challenge topic. I'm wondering what SC will do with there not being a frame for art or mirror in the image.
The light is beautiful, as is your model. |
That is just the play of the light at the edge of the areola. No nipple cover.
It is clearly legal, the window frame is a physical frame, although I wish I had one of them as well as clearly many people didn't see it that way. |

Life Imitating Art by FromDaRockComment by covenation: Originally posted by Tiny: Originally posted by smardaz: Originally posted by covenation: I'm not making this a discussion but I did just cross reference 6 dictionary definitions and 2 of them stated "especially the face in some instances". But they all said "likeness of a person". But yes you were correct in that it could be any medium obviously...if you are correct then I'm certain the panel will boot it, no? In this case the photographer decided to display the likeness in obvious ways, and they did not incorporate the eyes... |
you're both missing the big picture, and that is, she's got a great ass! |
yeah, i,m off to the Portrait Gallery in a mo to see more :) |
That's what I was hinting at in my previous post. I think the individuals who were stuck on the "rules" of art and not enough on breaking the rules for this challenge. After all, isn't that what DPC encourages?
The photographer definitely displayed her "likeness". It's a beautiful image and very well composed. The extra framing in the background completes it. Well done!
I really should start entering in some challenges. I just recently started visiting DPC again. We'll see what happens! |
