07 - Fenceby ErikVComment by trevytrev: Cool shot! The funny thing is that the large fence in the foreground wasn't the first thing to grab my attention, it was the walkway in the distance. Usually foreground object like this dominate a photo but you have it positioned so is actually frames the background and funnels you to it, very cool. |

06 - Lettuceby ErikVComment by trevytrev: Very cool choice for b&w as it really focuses your attetnion on details often overlooked when in color. The viens in all the leafs are so detailed and this is well lit, very nice! |

05- Pier.jpgby ErikVComment by trevytrev: Looks cold! I feel the ice looks a bit gray more than white. Probably not an easy scene to get the whites white w/o blowing out a lot of detail. |

06 - Lettuceby ErikVComment by Melethia: As in a lot of cases, conversion to B&W really highlights elements that I think are often lost in color - in this case, the very fine veins in the lettuce. It creates a different texture map than the color version probably provides. |

06 - Lettuceby ErikVComment by Stiger: Way to take a mundane object and make it interesting. The detail and contrast is phenomenal. Wow. |

06 - Lettuceby ErikVComment by bassbone: the lighting to highlight the veins and edges of the leaves works really well here - especially in b/w and the choice of composition with the angle adds a lot of interest to the shot |

Tomatoesby ErikVComment by Melethia: This is extremely well done - as Irene points out, red is very hard - tends to oversaturate in camera - and red on red is even harder. You pulled it off quite nicely. |
