Portrait, Rule of Thirds, Soft Focusby BarbBComment by Ja-9: not sure that I agree with the RoT or not...but then it is something that I am struggling to learn...to me this isn't divided into 3 but 2, (just my opinion)...I'm hoping you will explain as I would like to learn. Otherwise, I really like the composition of your shot...well done |

Portrait, Rule of Thirds, Soft Focusby BarbBComment by albc28: Your portraits actually lead my eyes right to the center. I think you better gathered center composition than ROT. Also should tone down the overexposure at the top of the veil. I love the way you captured both girls smile without losing detail in their faces. |

Advanced Anger Managementby BarbBComment by ineedauniquename: hmmm... I guess it all depends on what he does with that spear when he lands. What I don't understand is how you got so much movement into the chap, no motion blure or nuffin ... it looks like he should be looking like he's just hanging in the air but I can really feel and see that jump. |

Advanced Anger Managementby BarbBComment by bassbone: Come on! How does this fit the challenge???????!!!!
1. The warrior here is completely on screen (good composition - so it doesn't meet requirements of the challenge).
2. He is human (so although it meets the challenge description - if I read it incorrectly - it doesn't meet challenge).
3. I can't quite figure out whether he came from below, above, the left or the right...so I am going to assume he was not moving during this shot
4. The image seems a bit small at 640px - Why didn't you post it at 800px?
so I think I will have to give you a 1....
hehe - that was fun...!
Great shot - love the energy, love the color and intensity of his face (I just wish we could see it better - come on 800pixels!), and think this one is right on the money. No vote for me.... |
