Hmmm. The b&w makes this kind of harsh. The facial expression and body position of the subject sort of make it look creepy. This is not a happy shot, imo. The shadows in the face make the face seem evil. Sorry, this could have been a brilliant shot, but I think you inadvertantly communicated the wrong emotions in your presentation.

I like that you captured the environment first, with the subject having to get "down in the dirt" so to speak. The crop (no pun intended) might be a little too tight for that matter, but the lighting and even the black-and-white is perfect.

I like the natural framing in this. My only nit is the light on the foreground plants kinda pulls me away from the subject's face. That said, I really do like the natural, relaxed pose you captured.
