I feel the border distracts from the orangy rust in this shot. Although, I have admit that I am not much for adding borders to shots, unless the border is very muted, almost nonexistent colorwise.

Other then the border, I like the choice you made for this shot. It shows some nice rusty color variation along with just a hint of the clean metal at the edges in a few spots.

This is such a nice capture and you have used nice DOF and framed the bird well. I am unsure if there is something that could be done about that in the original but the overal focus of the image is not very good. That is too bad for such a nice capture. There is some noise in the background but you could easily get rid of that with noise reduction software such as NeatImage.
