The house is a bit out of focus and with house included in the title it seems as though it should be the main focus, thats just my opinion though.

OK, your title is "Carl Sandburg House" yet your primary focus is on the grapevine/ivy/plant. Try reversing the focus point or changing the title. Ignoring the title altogether, the house is overexposed and the plant is underexposed slightly. The leaves are in focus, however.

The composition is good. Unfortunately, the house is tilted and the focus draw attention to the plant and the fence in the foreground wich, according to your title is not the subject of you image. (5)

I think I like the focus on the wire rather than the house; but wish you had shot under different light, when the shadows were not as harsh.

I gave this a 5. I felt it was a nice composition but it just didn't wow me. It seems a bit bland. A scene like this would have been great if the fencepost had some flowers winding around the ivy or if there were some flowers in the meadow in the background (I realize this isn't something you can control --- I just mean that a bit of color would have added more interest to this scene).

To me, if the house is the subject, it needs better focus and lighting. If the subject is the fence/ivy with the house as a backdrop, this is a very good picture.
