Considering the lighting and the slower lens you used, I thing you did a good job. NOw, if one of those players is your son, you did an excellent job and have created something you can cherish. Blow it up to 8x10 and put it on his wall and you will become his hero!

I have to agree with bvy, the processing is a bit much, she looks way too smooth, and the eyes are a bit dark and lifeless, almost zombie like. Wonderful model, very cute, I like the composition and the choice of backgrounds. Back the processing off a bit, and lighten the eyes and you have a winner.

Can't believe I haven't commented on your most recent submissions yet. This is terrific! Not sure how you processed the black and white -- looks like maybe you got some mileage out of the oft neglected blue channel. In any case, very good capture of emotion, and the slightly harsh processing (the hair -- wow!) works beautifully here.
