Number 3

My daughter. She really wasn't unhappy (this time), she just likes to pose with that face. :)

Our conversation usually goes like this --

K: But, Momma.
Me: But, Kristi,
K: But, Momma
Me: But, Kristi,
K; But, Momma. AND DON'T SAY BUT KRISTI
Me: Then don't say, 'But, Momma"
K; But, Momma!

Oh yea, one of the first images with my new lens!!! 70-200 f/4L USM

I love the drama here - I bet a minute later she was smiling again. That light (and lens) was really workin' for you.

Now this is classic! The pouty face, the disheveled hair, the single pony tail over her shoulder. The colors are great and the processing suits this well. A little more brightness in the eyes would have been nice, but it's a minor quibble. It's great the way it is. Good use of composing with lines too.

Whoah, unhappiness incarnate (or a reasonable facsimile). Good shot. That's such a great lens.

Lonni -- I think it was just the way the sun was shining. It is natural light, and the sun was beginning to set just behind me and to my right just a touch (model's left and front).

This is gorgeous!

It's interesting that her hair looks quite different on her right compared to her left. Was there a different light source, or done in PP?

ROFL, classic conversation and what a wonderful pout she has! Well done, and looks like the new lens loves you too!
