Frozenby karmatComment by Tammster: Very nice shot!
Down here in Florida we've been freezing... I read today that the wild iguanas have been falling out of trees all over the place.
Like this one...

Frozenby karmatComment by digifotojo: Looks more like PA than NC.. crazy weather! I guess the waterfowl are wondering what's going on too! This is an interesting composite.. it tells a story and is nicely done. |

Frozenby karmatComment by bspurgeon: Great choice for the insets. I like the flair, and bright reflections in the water. |

Through the Yearsby karmatComment by bvy: Yes. I can give this a seven. I love the feeling, the mood. The colors are warm and subtle yet very effective. The fine grain adds another dimension. |

Frozenby karmatComment by scooter97: Been plenty cold almost everywhere this year. Looks absolutely frigid in this shot. Very nice inset images of the ducks! I'm glad that this brought some memories from so long ago. |

Must be global warming! haha.
About the photo though. Interesting set up on the tryptych. Really love the dual colors here. The duck looks naturally desaturated and it would have been nice to get some of the white snow or had the blue water in there so the inset images matched the dual colors of the main image. The white feathers work pretty good for that. Overall, very cool and goes well. |
