Lake Junaluska, NC

I've only seen it freeze like this one other time in my life -- when I was in first grade (31 years ago).

Like the 3-in-1 approach and especially the duck caught in flight.

Very nice triptych, I love those deep blues and sparkly reflections on the water.

I love the vivid blue! Beautiful scene.

I like the composition and the same story being told by the 3 photos a lot.

The colors are beautiful. Good job in not blowing out the snow.

I love each photo, but the two smaller ones are not working for me as part of the overall composition. I guess it is because I want to see that beautiful mallard with the back lighting up close :) I don't get the idea that this was all one scene from these three shots. That might not have been your goal, but it seems like it should be (to tell the story of these ducks in 3 photos).

Cool triptych. What an interesting scene, with all the birds taking a dip in the water there too. Love the contrast of blue and white.

Very nicely done, great combination.

I love the scenery on it's own, the addition of the 2 other shots adds a further degree of interest.

You have some serious sensor dust going on there!

Feels all to familiar to me! The lake outside my house has been frozen now since mid-December and likely won't thaw until April/May! Aside from that, I like what you did with the triptych, nice idea.

Lovely landscape. I would like to see it full in itself without other images overlapping. The other two images are fantastic too, btw.

This really is well done. I'm thinking we could be in for a bit of a master class if you keep this up. Please do :)

Very nice shot!

Down here in Florida we've been freezing... I read today that the wild iguanas have been falling out of trees all over the place.

Like this one...

Looks more like PA than NC.. crazy weather! I guess the waterfowl are wondering what's going on too! This is an interesting composite.. it tells a story and is nicely done.

Great choice for the insets. I like the flair, and bright reflections in the water.

Been plenty cold almost everywhere this year. Looks absolutely frigid in this shot. Very nice inset images of the ducks! I'm glad that this brought some memories from so long ago.

Must be global warming! haha.

About the photo though. Interesting set up on the tryptych. Really love the dual colors here. The duck looks naturally desaturated and it would have been nice to get some of the white snow or had the blue water in there so the inset images matched the dual colors of the main image. The white feathers work pretty good for that. Overall, very cool and goes well.
