Walking Giants by scooter88Comment by scooter88: Friends, Thanks for the many kind comments. Africa is so full of amazing life.
Sorry for my slowness in responding, our family is in the midst of moving to Kenya and life has been somewhat hectic.
Venser - no sweat on the 1. Appreciate you letting me know. Mistakes happen, at least I seem to make them all the time :)
Levyj413 thanks for answering on my behalf :) - when I saw your reply I thought - "crap I should have done that earlier" but have been slow when I should have made it a priority.
Love the DPC community! |

I thought I was bumping this up at the last minute from a 9 to a 10, instead I'm your 1 vote. In every free study I always choose one photo to be the best of the lot, and this was it, at least in theory. Turns out I placed you at the bottom with the chafe. |
I'll let you off the hook. If your 1 had instead been a 10, it would've raised the score to 7.2149, still in 3rd place. |

Mama, can I? CAN I PLEASE?by scooter88Comment by dtremain: Answer: No. Regardless of pose, it is another lioness.
Question: Is the animal on the left a kangaroo?
This is a great capture the moment shot. Great detail and clarity - faces and features nicely visible and almost perfectly lit. |

King of the Treesby scooter88Comment by HarveyG: Fabulous environment image of one of Africa's most photogenic species. All too often close ups are done, even in the wild, when a step back like this is refreshing and educational. Good framing with the trees and nice subdued light. FS Top20 I hope. |
