love the red of the hair and lips, love the umbrella, almost seems like a backdrop, the crop is well done and thanks for providing light set up on this. it always helps to know how the light is done.

Striking model with nice hair colour. Crisp and clear. Only 2 nitpiks.. Her skin on her face could use some warming up and the bright red lips keep drawing me away from her eyes. I may be the only one to notice that.

Such a well done portrait. I hate it when the pose seems forced and this is so natural. The lighting is wonderful. Terrific focus too. She has incredible eyes. I really thought this would be in the top three.

I don't agree with the averted eyes comments at all. I think the models direct gaze expresses a desperate searching for help from others. The focus is her anguish, her self hatred and that works with the eye contact. Looking towards the pills or the gun would have made me think about the action of suicide and not the reason.
