Interrupted Journeyby digifotojoComment by streetpigeon: Palpably held there floating by the dry plant, like a dirigible tethered to its tower. I want to hold my breath at the delicacy of it. Lovely bokeh. At first glance it was a dancer taking a bow. |

Simplisticby digifotojoComment by insteps: This one appears to be floating. A hint of stem might work better but could challenge the simplicity you are after. |

New Bloomby digifotojoComment by insteps: Lovely lighting and a nice study in form. For me, Edward Weston is the master of this genre. His b&w still life photography placed more emphasis on form. Color adds additional information which offers a different viewer experience. Kind of rambling here but I look forward to seeing how you approach this theme for the month. |

Curiosityby digifotojoComment by digifotojo: Yes, we always enjoy photographing the cats. This was one of the newer additions to Ott's feline family, probably born last summer. The mother belongs to one of the women who manages Ott's. I'm pretty sure this is the mother:

Photomatix Pro 6.0.3 for Finishing Touch: Contrast, highlights, lights, darks & shadows, sharpening.
