Very nice start, are you up on your toes? I am wondering if maybe keeping the heels down and allowing those shadows would help balance it out a bit. Nice creative way to start and I am sure we will see great things from you.

A little more light on the feet would have worked, like Louis said. But, it's a good shot overall. I do like the contrast.

I like the light personally. If this is natural light, the high key effect is well done. Some more light on the lower portion may have created more detail in the contrasty areas, but I guess you have no control over the source. Some kind of reflector might have helped.
