A really interesting detail shot, I feel. Great lighting, too. |

Don't stop there.
If you want to mess around with lighting when you don't have any (I mean, when you're not using studio lighting) then reflective surfaces such as white walls or windows (if you're outside) can get you a little bit of fill light in the shadows. If you're really up to it then you can wield portable reflective surfaces like white cards and mirrors . . .
Or not . . . |

i dont know how you can bear to wear those! I wore some once to a wedding and that did me in for the next 2 years! But I like the high key look. |

Woooohoooo heels. I haven't worn heels in years. Pretty creative bent you have going here. The nonsymetrical position gives it a much more artsy feel. (That is a big compliment from me.) |

Nice capture, cool idea. Shots like this leave the viewer wanting more. Mystery is always a good thing and you are off to a great start. |

Very nice start, are you up on your toes? I am wondering if maybe keeping the heels down and allowing those shadows would help balance it out a bit. Nice creative way to start and I am sure we will see great things from you. |

A little more light on the feet would have worked, like Louis said. But, it's a good shot overall. I do like the contrast. |

I like the light personally. If this is natural light, the high key effect is well done. Some more light on the lower portion may have created more detail in the contrasty areas, but I guess you have no control over the source. Some kind of reflector might have helped. |
