Day 4 - Purple Flowerby ephlnComment by WriteHeart: This is such a neat capture! I love that parts of two flowers are in focus instead of just one flower. Just one suggestion about the border, I would love to see it if the colored border were closer to the edge of the photo. There's just a little too much space between the two for my taste. (just an opinion) |

Day 4 - Purple Flowerby ephlnComment by Bear_Music: That's a very ephemeral image with a fascinating use of DOF, but the danged border is ruining it for me; you need to tone that way down IMO, just a hint of color and a finer line. |

Day 3 - Columbineby ephlnComment by ephln: Originally posted by Prism: Lovely soft yellows and greens accented with the dark border...gorgeous. It may just be me but I do see one spot at the upper edge of the top petal that looks as if you have a little bleed over from your dodging. If you try masking around the flower first and then dodge, you can cut down on that happening. |
Masking and dodging...lol..something I have yet to learn. I think I see what you mean...a shadow effect to the right of the top petal? Might have happened with the soft focus effect. If I try to fix it...I'm sure I will muck it up! |

Day 3 - Columbineby ephlnComment by Tuckersmom: Don't you just love columbines, so delicate and almost old fashioned looking. I don't think I've seen the all yellow so this is a nice treat. The second is almost a mirror image of the front one, good capture |
