Day 8 - Eye of the Craneby ephlnComment by mpeters: Your detail is great. It's not the type of picture that makes me say WOW but I admire you for getting so close to a big bird. ;) Dead straight light does make it a little harsh from a lighting standpoint. However, why would you want to make an "in your face" picture like this anything but harsh! |

Day 8 - Eye of the Craneby ephlnComment by Ann: I looked at the picture before I read the title, and went "Wow! What the heck is *that*?" The perspective is excellent. Is this lit with bright sunshine, or a flash? In either case, it appears to be dead on in front of the eye, and is a bit harsh to work really well. |

Day 9 - Mellow Yellowby ephlnComment by Ann: I like the same things about this shot that you do. The light is really lovely and soft, and the DOF makes the front flower stand out, even though there are other yellow flowers directly behind. |

Day 5 - Lizardby ephlnComment by Melethia: It's a bit bright on the rock, but I like midday sun for some things. If we only shot when the light was low (morning, evening) we'd have a whole day with nothing to do! He seems to be enjoying his day, doesn't he? |
