Lest we forgetby MikeOComment by bobonacus: I like the sentiment of these kind of photos and as a story they are a great record. This has good colour from the poppies contrasted against the b&w photo. I also strongly think we should remember all these people who lost their lives. However, as as stand alone photograph in a photography challenge I'm not so sure they work so well. It would be great to see this in an exhibition with lots of other similar photos maybe. |

Lest we forgetby MikeOComment by Lydia: I'm not sure why the photo is so green... but I like the composition. (not voting yet) |

Just a boyby MikeOComment by MikeO: Thanks for your comments. I had the camera pointing up and just kept firing. Only did a little usm. Could not do anything about the crop - that's was how it came out. A bit of a panic entry because I have not been taking photos much lately.

Just a boyby MikeOComment by Ken: This has a lot of potential and I like how the subject is intimate with the camera and hence viewer. I would have cropped a bit higher and perhaps gotten his eyes on a third. Also, the bits of food (or whatever) around his face could have been cloned out. |

Just a boyby MikeOComment by FireBird: Lovely model with a nice expression. The crop is a bit severe for me as it intrudes into the eye area. |
