Troubled Skiesby figaroComment by orvaratli: Excellent sky but the main subject should be the sea so it gets downgraded a little because of that. |

"My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?"by figaroComment by SandyP: This photo makes me so sad. . .but that's a good thing as far as photographic appeal: it is a testament to the power of your photo. I can literally feel his anguish. I am so sorry this got dq'd. I'm not sure what score it received, but it is so strong. I hope it was well received.
It's a piece you should be very proud to have in your collection regardless of what this particular crowd of people with often excruciatingly strange voting patterns thinks!

"My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?"by figaroComment by citymars: Jonathan, I'm sorry to see you got disqualified. I was hoping you could avoid it. It's a shame you weren't around to supply the original photo, though who knows if that would have done any good. You entered a good photo you can be proud of, regardless.

"My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?"by figaroComment by indecline: I thought you did a great job with this photo - the emotion is really carried through well - I just can't believe you didn't land in the top 10, sheesh, why people always vote for the same old crap is beyond me...sorry mate. |

"My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?"by figaroComment by tonyangu: I enjoy looking at this piece i can almost feel what the main subject is feeling. the composition of the image is dark as well as the feeling the subject is portrain. However i wish i could see more details in his skin and in his face. Over all i like the shape of the main figure and the emotion captured. |
