This has emotional appeal as well, but not nearly as much as your entry. There's a disconnect between her apparent age and his, which may or may not contribute to the story a viewer sees.

Congrats on the very well deserved Posthumous blue. A very powerful image indeed. I visited this one more than once when in voting. At first it struck me as kind of sad, but your title creates a stronger, more positive connection here. It represents (to me, anyway) the bonds that form between people; the bonds that keep us moving on despite obstacles. And I think the composition is just fine. It's a small but brilliant moment caught amongst the realities. You have a great eye and I for one very much you sharing that with us here. Please continue to do so.

Nice shot - emotive and interesting. Sort of has a 'Robert Frank' feel. My guess it isn't commercial enough to do well in this challenge, but I like it!
