 Free study outtake. I don't believe this would have scored highly at all, but it still would have done better than the slightly suicidal entry I've entered in its place! It was a very touch decision to make indeed as I really like this, but I went with my gut in the end, and definitely made the right decision!

Quite heavily edited - usual stuff: RAW conversion, curves and levels layers, dodge, burn and USM. Also cloned out a bottle the girl was holding as it ruined the image somewhat.

I can imagine her gazing absentmindedly out into that distance, unaware of the true significance of what she sees. Life is in these bits and pieces.

This has emotional appeal as well, but not nearly as much as your entry. There's a disconnect between her apparent age and his, which may or may not contribute to the story a viewer sees.
