Greetings from the Critique Club!

So I click on an image to critique and look what comes up! What a fantastic image...very imaginative and creative, and so very....Coley-like. When I saw this image I, like many others, thought you used a trampoline to get this shot, but you have proved me wrong on this one.

First off let me start with the things I don't like about the image; My biggest complaint are the trees and what looks like the top of a building near the bottom of the picture. In my opinion they are a little distracing from the subject of the image, however, it may have been unavoidable in your case. Other than that...there is not a whole lot wrong with your photo. As mentioned in an earlier comment...the crop is a little wierd. If it were possible to get all of the moms body in the photo I believe this would of been on the home page. But...once again, this may have been impossible with the setup you were using. Those are my only real complaints, although the lighting may ba just a tad harsh...it's nothing to get upset about.

Now what I like about the photo; The image itself is very imaginative and creative. It shows off you signature style. The focus is spot on. The colors are great...I really like the way all three of them are wearing the same darker shades. It helps show unity between the two girls and their mom. I could go on and on about how great your execution of the idea was...but I would be repeating everything that the commenters before me have said.

Overall...great, great image. I look forward to seeing what oyu can come up with in the future. Have fun and Good luck!

this is my favourite selective desat shot - my only nit pick would be to have colour in the back lense as in the fg one, but a fun unique entry all the same

Oh my! There are so many things happening in this photo. This makes me think Hell's Angel with the black and the boots! I too, love the broken branch and the composition. Although I am too late to vote, I give it a 10!

One of if not the best in this challenge. Job well done. I have sat here to find a flaw and the only one is just an opinion. I wish the hair was tucked behind the ear. But still a 10.
