Youve captured the contrasting textures of leaf and water very well. That would make an interesting image itself, but the brilliant color of the leaf adds that extra impact to make this a great photo.

I LOVE this shot, the autumnal colours of the leaf look great against the desaturated water. The border works well here, and complements the photo nicely. I personally wish that the leaf was composed diagonally across the frame... maybe from top left to bottom right. There's something about the top-down composition that bothers me. 8

Nice photo. This one is something of a sleeper, I'm afraid. It really doesnt look like much in the thumbnail, but it sure does shine when viewed full size. Great color, clarity, and composition.
