Awwww, Harry's a cute little dog. Oh yes, welcome to DPC. I see this is only your second Challenge. I hope you are enjoying the site so far.

Well, you didn't score very well this time around, and it was pretty much because Harry is fuzzy in this frame. Since you just got your camera you have lots to learn and your pictures will improve as you learn the basics of your equipment. I'll give you one tip to get started on: When you are taking a picture in fairly low light (inside shots are usually low light) it is very helpful to use a tripod. If you don't have a tripod yet, balance your camera on some books or a box, or whatever is stable enough to keep it steady. Experiment!

You have a good eye, because the composition is very, very nice; I wish you much success here at DPC and look forward to seeing more of your work.
