To Have and To Holdby VenomComment by jlanoue: I've always loved candids, wish there was some way I could tell this really was a candid between posed shots, but for the mere fact that the bride (or model) had to put her dress in the sand, you get a good score from me :-) |

To Have and To Holdby VenomComment by smudgeSMJ: So romantic looking. I love the pose and the composition, the dof is done really well too. The footprints on the bottom are a little distracting. |

To Have and To Holdby VenomComment by bobonacus: lovely colour and light in this shot, great scene in the background as well. I like how the people are isolated by not having any objects behind their heads or anything |

To Have and To Holdby VenomComment by LadyK: just lovely. might have waiting for a bit more sunset-y light(im guessing its sunset:) just to get a richer tone in the colors |

Grand Openingby VenomComment by Yo_Spiff: Not the kind of shot I normally expect to see in a challenge on this site. Pretty decent for what it is. Well composed, decently lit. My eye is guided right up to the store's name. If I had hired you to do a good shot of this store for an advertisement, I would be pleased. If I were an overly picky and anal DPC member, I might have bumped up the curves, saturation and contrast just a wee bit to give it a little more visual impact. Good thing that's not the case...
Actually, the more I look at this, the more I think you've done a good job with a relatively ordinary subject. A type of shot that is bread and butter for many professional photogs. |
