I must say that I did not pay much attention to this photo during the challenge, but now, when I look at it, I find all sorts of things that I like in it:
the low horizon line
the little white backlight behind the blackish outcrop
the barely there mountains
the beautiful clouds
the (at least to my eyes) slightly purplish tint

All in all, a beautiful shot, one that can grow on you.
