Specks and the Universe IIby zeuszenComment by blemt: My primary problem with this is my inability to determine what I'm looking at. Because the image is so dark, my brain is convinced that there's something I am supposed to see here. Without being able to determine what I'm supposed to be seeing, it's tough for me to make constructive comments. |

Specks and the Universe IIby zeuszenComment by photom: The mysteriousness of the image - due to the underexposure - makes you study it. Unfortunately, there not much going on in the bottom half of the frame. |

Specks and the Universe IIby zeuszenComment by doctornick: Why is the sand so dark? Ok that sounded stupid! This is a moonlit night shot with a few flashlight enhanced areas on a long exposure I'm guessing? Intriguing effect, good composition, I would have shone the flashlight longer in some areas. |
