Playing by the Riverby chris48083Comment by ryand: This is a great unique expression, the only problem is the colors being oversaturated, or maybe too much contrast, it is making the colors do strange things, if that is fixed, i could see this scoring 5.5+ pretty easily. |

IMGP5633.jpgby chris48083Comment by ryand: Neat shot, love how close it is, one thing i would try maybe would be putting it in b&w, could make it look crisper, not sure, but nonetheless a good shot. |

Burning Outby chris48083Comment by ryand: Very neat shot, it looks quite a bit grainy and now i see you shot at 3200 due to necessity, one thing i would advise would be to invest in a 50mm 1.8 for under $100 (not sure because its a pentax), nonetheless a neat shot, and very well done. |

IMGP5633.jpgby chris48083Comment by heavyj: I would love to get into this type of photography. I just don't have the cash. As far as commenting on the photo, it's going to be tough since I'm not sure what you can do with the camera/telescope to make things better. In photoshop however, I would use use something to sharpen then edges a bit more, perhaps use a highpass filter on a vivid layer. A little dodging and burning might help out a bit too, but without having played with this type of photo it's hard to say. Still, I like it and I'm sure others will comment on it as well with more useful advice. |
