Burning Outby chris48083Comment by bennettjamie: Awesome shot. I wish the yellow truck and the guy was not in the bg, as it is a little distracting. This is a little grainy but considering the ISO used, I see why now. |

Nightby chris48083Comment by bennettjamie: I think this is a very fantastic photo. I love the diagnal lines leading to the road, and the sunset is great. |

Homeby chris48083Comment by bennettjamie: For me, this photo is uninteresting. There is no subject. Not sure what to look at. Also, the colors seem a little flat, maybe a little more contrast? |

Home IIby chris48083Comment by bennettjamie: This is a really nice photo and works well with B&W here. I love that you can see a hint of the pond that gives you a reflection. I love the diagnals here and perspective. Great work! |

Week 4by chris48083Comment by RedDotCom: Cool idea! I agree a lighter background may help out and a focused 'Redo' would be nice. Perfect example of when to use your DoF preview - if your camera has one. Love the idea though, this would look great if the keys were a Valentine's Red! |

Week 4by chris48083Comment by CapeSail: Interesting photo, the background takes away from it, maybe completely dark with just the keys lit...I think that would accentuate the message as well. |

Playing by the Riverby chris48083Comment by jpochard: I scored this one a "4" during the challenge. The colors are off, which is the first thing people seem to be noticing. The little girl also seems a little out of focus to me, which is probably from the slow shutter speed. I would think on an outside shot, you should be able to work with a little higher shutter...at least a 1/60 would probably have made a difference here.
You might also consider cropping some off of the top, as I think it would bring the viewer's attention more to the subject. Hope this is helpful! |

A Day in These Shoesby chris48083Comment by jpochard: I agree with most comments below. It appears out of focus and the black border is distracting and not adding to the shot. However, I do like the idea and the shoes have "character" (you can tell I'm a Realtor) I like the composition as well...just the technical end of the shot needs some work. I'm not a fan of the really red tone, but that's a matter of taste I suppose. |

Week 4by chris48083Comment by jdannels: you gave this a good treatment into black and white. It has good strong whites and blacks. A simple message delivered effectively. |
