Week 6by chris48083Comment by SandyP: Yes. . .I love rebelling against that rule of thirds thing -- it is made to be broken. And I will chime in and say this dead-centered might even be more badass than it already is :)
Congratulations on your new camera. How fun! And we get to see lots of more photos with it. Yayyy! :)

Week 1by chris48083Comment by DJWoodward: I like the light reflecting on the rails. It creates interseting leading lines. I think I might have considered a tighter crop to remove the truck from the right side of the image though. |

Week 6by chris48083Comment by trevytrev: congrats on the new camera! cool shot but I agree with Sonifo that I think this would be nice centered, make sure that you tell them she told you so too. |

Week 1by chris48083Comment by trevytrev: i like the light on the tracks, adds a mood to the shot. I will agree that the building pulls away attention from my favorite portion of the shot which is the tracks. |

Week 1by chris48083Comment by pineapple: You teach me to seduce the viewer into a story, a dark night in...., and the sound of a car in the distance. On The Road. Passing by Edward Hopper's cafe. Dark colourless acrylic paints... hints hints hints. I find inspiration from this lovely image. |

Week 6by chris48083Comment by pineapple: Positioning within a frame, separation of subject from non-subject, is what I think and learn about from your photo. You also remind me that the rhythmic repetitions of objects (such as the machine heads) can be useful in composition. |

Week 1by chris48083Comment by colorcarnival: This is funky. The way you caught the light on the building makes it look kind of wavy - like the building has a layer of water over it. Pretty cool. |
