Bloodroot and Shadowby drdab99Comment by Gracious: Very nice....used to have these in upstate New York. Dunno if they're here in Florida. You captured nice detail, and the shadow adds to it!! |

Bloodroot and Shadowby drdab99Comment by GolferDDS: I like how you added interest to the flower by including the shadow. The backround also helps to identify that this is a wild flower. |

Bloodroot and Shadowby drdab99Comment by mzanoni: Interesting color combinations. I didn't like it at first, but as I type my comments it grows on me. New flower growing on bed of dead leaves. You've told a nice story and conveyed your vision (if I guessed it) well. Composition is also very well done here to have framed the flower (without cutting off its leaves) and its shadow. |

Bloodroot and Shadowby drdab99Comment by bod: Excellent.
The browns really set off the white petals well, and the shadow is a great touch.
Getting rid of the green leaf is the only thing I would change about this shot. Well done. |
