Nice concept but the background clashes with the subject and the lighting is harsh. A diffused and / or bounced flash would help the lighting.

LOL yes socks are important. All Dalmatians dressed as reindeer need socks and mismatched ones are always better. The other nice thing is that this toy looks very loved.

The background being so in focus really distracts my eyes from the subject. A shallower depth of field would have worked better, in my opinion. Cute, though. :)

Way too busy for my liking. My eye is drawn all over the plce on this layout. Overall a nice concept, with nice focus, nice lighting.

This is taken with an on camera flash I think. Placing the subject nearer some natural light would have softened the harsh shadow
