First Ice on the Pondby dtremainComment by MaryO: Looks like a pretty place to sit, but I wouldn't want to see so much of the houses past the pond. A shallower DOF would bring more emphasis to the bench, tree and water, which would work better IMO. Also the horizon looks slightly tilted; if that's not intentional you might want to do a slight rotation to straighten the image. |

Allindagonby dtremainComment by jomari: That is interesting. The bottom is quite regular like textile or something but towards the top it morphs into an irregular version which looks more like wood.I can't offer an explanation as to what it is. |

Allindagonby dtremainComment by brentaugusuts: Macro is always tricky making sure the focus (DOF) is spot on. I find a remote release shutter is best as pressing the on body shutter button causes a lot of movement in a tight shot. |
