This is a nice scene. The two boats work well together in this composition. I like the layout overall, what may have held this back some is the lighting. I'd love to see this retaken (if possible) at dawn or dusk to catch some flattering light on this fine subject.

I thought this was a pretty interesting shot, and voted it much higher than it's average. I agree with the other comments that it seems a bit overly sharp, but I assumed that was what you were going for. To keep this same style as opposed to the completely different takes on your discussion thread, I would have liked to see more pure dark black. Something to really offset all of the white. Just my two cents. (or half a cent, you decide! :-)
