The short definition of Bokeh from KenRockwell.com, which I am using for voting on this challenge: "Bokeh describes the rendition of out-of-focus points of light." Is the subject enhanced by the bokeh of the background? Yep. Looks cold from front to back!

Very drawn to this shot...nice isolation of the tree as a foreground element to balance the horizon line.

I had a Joshua tree in mine too! Mine's not doing so well, though.

I like this one, just looks a tad underexposed.

great pic... were it me it would have been so blurry and out of focus.... or maybe unnoticible due to the great distance i would have created in record time....

Somehow the picture seems to dark for the clear sky like this. Very good DOF and focus, and overall nice shot.

A great shot for a calendar. What a pity it's not quite as crisp as the atmosphere must sure have been on the day? Was a tripod used? Imagine this picture with a little more depth, smaller aperture with focus in the distance to blru out the clsoe foreground perhaps?

Comment by moodville:
It seems a tad underexposed and the colors, especially the grass, seems a little dull. A slight boost in saturation and a levels adjustment could make the image 'pop' more. The composition is good.
